When I came to Shonta 7 months ago, I had alot going on with my hair. I had excessive shedding and breakage from being overly dry and brittle from the use of perms and worst of all, in the nape of my neck I had about 2 1/2 inches of hair completely broken off as if it was faded.
During the initial visit with Shonta, she performed a hair analysis and the results were that my hair had been over-processed from excessive use of perms and rinses over the years, which had stripped had stripped my hair of it's natural oils. And the hair breakage in the back of my head was due to perms not completely being washed out thoroughly.
As a result of the analysis, my treatment plan started with the non use of perms and I was immediately started on her Complete Length natural protein hair treatment for one month. And after that, she started me on her Complete Length Raw Honey hair treatment and her Complete Length natural coconut hair treatment to revitalize and replenish the oil and moisture back into my hair. She also applied her Complete Length Super Grow Product to the edges and the nape of the hair to aid in the growth in those areas.
Today, I am happy to report that the dryness, breakage and shedding have minimized tremendously. The hair that had broken off in the back of my head is now about 4 inches long and can now be curled, whereas before there was not enough hair to catch in the curling iron.
